About Me

Language Proficiency

I grew up in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, where a childhood love of tinkering led me from Scratch to building robots: two of which placed 1st and 2nd regionally at the LEGO World Robot Olympiad.

In 2021 I moved to Denmark to study Software Engineering, and got involved in student life along the way (more on that under Volunteer Work).

I'm friendly and outgoing, thrive in collaborative environments, and I'm always eager to tinker, experiment and find new paths.

Education

VIA University College

I graduated from VIA University College in 2025 with a degree in Software Technology Engineering.

The program is built around Problem Based Learning: most subjects were assessed through real software projects, usually in small groups. Through these I developed backend systems and got hands-on with frontend, database design, testing and project management, plus electives in UX design, game development, SAP systems and machine learning.

Studying abroad at an institution that puts this much weight on practical experience left me feeling prepared to tackle real problems in any environment.

Work Experience

Intrasoft S.L.

Starting as an intern and continuing on as a full member of the team, I helped maintain a custom C# ERP solution for insurance brokers:

• Focused on the system's handling of EIAC files
• Extensively tested services to ensure high data accuracy
• Refactored legacy code toward modern standards such as SOLID and DRY

Volunteer Work

I've stayed active in social initiatives throughout my education:

• High School: Helped organize extracurricular events, taught lessons to younger classes, and tutored classmates in a range of subjects.
• VIA Student Council: Quickly joined and rose the ranks from head of the Events Committee to Chairperson, before stepping down in 2024. Organized events and social activities, advocated for student interests, and managed teams of volunteers.
• World Scouting Movement: Ongoing member, in the past I've volunteered at diverse activities from supporting local events to nature cleanup sessions.
